Bridgend is a Welsh town situated between Cardiff and Swansea. River Ogmore passes through the town, with the River Ewenny running just south of the area. The Llynfi, Garw and Ogmore valleys also reside in Bridgend, while still having easy transport links to nearby cities.

Also within the area is Bryngarw Country Park, which offers a variety of areas to explore, in both its natural habitats including woodland and grassland, as well as an oriental garden. Take a walk along the lush banks of River Garw and spot some of the plentiful wildlife living here.
Trains from Bridgend station are available to the nearby cities of Cardiff and Swansea, as well as more long distance trains to Bristol, London Paddington and Manchester Piccadilly.

Bridgend contains two main roads that lead to the M4; the A4016 and Bridgend Road. From the M4 you can reach areas East and West of the town including Swansea, Cardiff and Newport. Take the A470 off the M4 to reach areas North of Bridgend.
