Boothby Pagnell Manor is five miles from Grantham, while Woolsthorpe Manor is the 17th century home of Sir Isaac Newton. The interactive science discovery centre in the grounds offers a hands-on experience.

Relaxing days can be spent walking along Grantham Canal, while the 400-year-old Easton Walled Gardens is set in a 12 acre valley with beautiful plants, flowers and meadow gardens. You can enjoy a bite to eat here while taking in the picturesque surroundings.

A fun family day out can be enjoyed at Twin Lakes Theme Park located at Melton Mowbray.

Grantham is well served by strong road, rail and air links.

The east coast mainline services the town with a high speed train allowing you to get to Peterborough in as little as 19 minutes and London King’s Cross in 66 minutes. It is also on the Liverpool – Norwich and Skegness – Nottingham line.

Grantham can be reached via the A1 with Peterborough able to be reached in less than 50 minutes and Nottingham just under 40 minutes away.

The nearest airport to Grantham is East Midlands Airport which offers both domestic and international flights. It is located 38 miles from the centre of Grantham.
