New Homes in Alsager FAQs

  • From the local attractions to the sleepier feel of the town centre and the open countryside in the surrounding area, buying a house in Alsager offers an excellent way of life. Our latest offers are also tempting, with deals such as our Part Exchange scheme giving you the chance to save on estate agent fees and secure a guaranteed buyer for your existing home with zero fuss.

  • With the Mere situated right in the heart of town and parks like the Addy and Milton Park giving you the chance to go for a stroll, play with your kids and walk the dog, you’ll also find a selection of golf clubs and spots like the National Trust’s Little Moreton Hall on the outskirts of town.

The local area also offers places such as Greenway Bank Country Park, Bateswood Nature Reserve and Parrot's Drumble Nature Reserve which are all ripe for exploration, while north of town you’ll find Daneside Country Park and Brereton Heath with its pretty lake.

  • The popularity of Alsager is bolstered by its excellent choice of schools. The town has two centrally located primary schools which are rated as outstanding by Ofsted; the wonderfully named Excalibur Primary School and St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary. There’s also an outstanding secondary, Alsager School, which backs onto the Mere on Hassall Road.
  • The M6 motorway passes to the west of town, meaning you can drive to Birmingham in the south in an hour, and Manchester in the north in just 45 minutes. Stoke, meanwhile, is just 15 minutes away along the A500, with trains from Alsager’s station on Sandbach Road South taking the same amount of time. There are also local buses you can use, while Manchester Airport is only half an hour’s drive away.
  • Alsager has a strong, stable housing market where property prices are much higher than neighbouring Stoke. The strength of the local market is shown in Sandbach five miles away, which has similar average prices and offers properties such as contemporary 3 and 4 bedroom semi-detached and detached new build homes just off the A534. Back in Alsager, you can find high-spec 3 and 4 bed homes off Dunnocksfold Road, close to the centre of town and just steps from the multi-million pound Alsager Sports Hub.

A wonderful part of Cheshire to settle down in, you can make your next move work even harder for you by taking up an offer such as our Movemaker scheme, where we’ll pay estate agents’ feed for you. Potentially saving you thousands of pounds, make sure you ask your adviser about these when you enquire about your new home.
