Getting to Melksham
Whether you’re travelling for work or pleasure, your journey to neighbouring towns and cities will be relatively quick and easy from Melksham, with good links by both road and rail. The town is only a 30 minute drive from Bath via the A4 and A365, or a 25 minute train journey changing once in Chippenham, while the journey by car from Chippenham takes just 20 minutes depending on traffic or 10 minutes by train.
If you’re travelling to London, the drive via the M4 takes two hours 15 minutes without congestion, while the train journey takes just one hour 30 minutes with one change in Swindon. When you want to get away from it all, you can catch a flight from Bristol Airport, around one hour’s drive from the town. London Heathrow is also an option, with a journey time of one hour 35 minutes from Melksham by car.
