For families moving to the area, there’s lots to keep the children occupied nearby, from days out at Alton Towers theme park to walks at Monkey Forest Trentham. There are plenty of sports facilities to take advantage of, including Awesome Walls Climbing, Waterworld Stoke and Stoke Ski Centre.

Other places of interest close to your new home in Meir include Foxfield Railway, World of Wedgwood, the Emma Bridgewater Factory and Churnet Valley Railway. Getting to Meir

Meir is located on the A50 and close to the M6, just a 10 minute drive from Stoke city centre or 12 minutes by train from nearby Blythe Bridge station. The suburb is a 25 minute drive from Stafford via the M6, and a 45 minute drive away from Derby.

If you’re travelling to London, the journey from Meir takes three hours 10 minutes by car depending on traffic, or just one hour 30 minutes by train from Stoke. When it’s time to jet off on holiday, Meir is just 50 minutes from East Midlands Airport, and one hour from both Manchester Airport and Birmingham Airport.
