Getting to Dewsbury
Dewsbury is close to both the M1 and the M62, and the town also has its own train station. The journey to Leeds takes around 25 minutes by car via the M1 or just 15 minutes on the Transpennine Express service, while Manchester is just over one hour away by car or 45 minutes away by train.
Travelling by car, Bradford can be reached in around 35 minutes, while Wakefield is just 20 minutes away and Huddersfield can be reached in 30 minutes.
For international travel, Leeds Bradford Airport is a 45-minute drive from Dewsbury. London is a three hour 45-minute drive from the town, but there are a number of rail routes with a journey time between two hours 30 minutes and three hours, changing at either York, Selby or Leeds.
