  • Leicester Forest West lies on the A47, also known as Hinckley Road, which you can use to drive to Leicester in just 15 minutes. It’s a similar journey to get onto the M1 motorway which runs to the east of town, while the M69 is also close at hand, which takes you to Coventry in half an hour. There are a number of bus stops in the area if you prefer to use public transport to get around. 
  • If you have children to think of, there are some good schools in the local area to send them to. Top primary options include Thurlaston CofE and Kirby Muxloe Primary, while Christ The King Catholic Primary is a few miles east but rated as outstanding by Ofsted. 

    If your kids are secondary age, or if you’re planning for the future, there’s an excellent school close to Leicester Forest West you can aim for. Bosworth Academy is a couple of miles away in Desford, but has a large catchment area and has been classed as outstanding by the education board.
