Getting to Barrow upon Soar
The village has very good transport links, with the M1 and A6 nearby and a train station with direct services to Loughborough, Market Harborough and Leicester. From Barrow upon Soar the journey to Loughborough takes just 10 minutes by car or five minutes by train, while Leicester is 20 minutes away by both train and car. Other places that are easy to reach include Nottingham 30 minutes away, and Birmingham which can be reached in 55 minutes via the M42.
If you’re travelling to London, the easiest way to reach the capital is by train with a change at Leicester before arriving at St Pancras. From Barrow upon Soar, the train journey to London takes around one hour 55 minutes.
When it’s time to go on holiday or take a business trip, the village is just 20 minutes away from East Midlands Airport with flights to destinations across Europe and around the world.
