Neighbouring Wilstead and Wixams also have good primaries, while local secondaries include Daubeney Academy and Redborne Upper School and Community College. They are both classed as good too.
Houghton Conquest transport links
Houghton Conquest is close to the A6 which runs north to south between Bedford and Luton. You can drive to the former in around 15 minutes, while it’s another five minutes to the latter. The nearest train station is a couple of miles away in Stewartby, with services to London taking approximately an hour and a half. It’s usually quicker to drive or catch a bus to Bedford and get a train from there to the capital though.
