If you enjoy exploring the great outdoors, you’re in luck as Bordon is close to a number of popular places to walk and cycle, including The Dead Water Valley, Woolmer Forest, Frensham Great Pond and Alice Holt Forest Woodland Park. Getting to Bordon

Bordon is a popular commuter town, and although there is no train station – the nearest station being at Liphook – road links to neighbouring towns and cities are good. From Portsmouth, the journey to Bordon takes 30 minutes by car. The town is around 35 minutes away from Basingstoke, 35 minutes from Guildford, 40 minutes from Winchester and 50 minutes from Southampton.

If you’re travelling to the capital, the journey to London by car takes around one hour 30 minutes. There is also a direct train from Liphook, with a journey time of one hour five minutes on average. For international travel, Southampton Airport and London Gatwick can both be reached within one hour.
