If you have children then you’ll be pleased to know there are some excellent schools in Leicester. Sparkenhoe Community Primary School is right on the edge of the city centre and outstanding according to Ofsted, while Parks Primary School in the New Parks area has been given the same rating.
When it comes to secondary schools, Melton Road’s mixed-sex Rushey Mead Academy is a top performer and like the Beauchamp College in Oadby is rated as outstanding by Ofsted. For the latter, being south east of the city centre in a spot like Wigston will put you in the appropriate catchment area. -
