The town centre is blessed with a number of green spaces which include Fairlands Valley Park and Hampson Park, as well as the Town Centre Gardens and Stevenage Museum. Knebworth Country Park is right on the edge of town, as well as Pryor’s Wood and Benington Lordship Gardens.

In addition to a local bus network and selection of taxi ranks at key areas of the town, Stevenage also has a train station in the centre of town. You can use this to catch a train to London in around 25 minutes.
The town also benefits from its close proximity to the A1(M) motorway, which heads south to the capital and north towards Peterborough, Leeds and the North East. London Luton Airport meanwhile is just over 10 miles away, while it’s less than 25 miles to London Stansted.
