Bromsgrove is a great shopping destination, with stores lining the long high street and a regular outdoor market along with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Education

For families moving to the area, there are lot of ‘outstanding’ schools in Bromsgrove as rated by Ofsted, including St John’s Church of England Middle School, Finstall First School, Aston Fields Middle School, Sidemoor First School and Nursery, Lickey End First School and South Bromsgrove High. If you want independent education, Bromsgrove School and Dodderhill School are close by.

Bournville College of Further Education is nearby, while the Heart of Worcestershire College is home to the first Harley Davidson University in the UK. For higher education, the University of Worcester, the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University and Aston University are all an easy commute away, perfect if your children want to be close to home while studying.

Getting to Bromsgrove

Bromsgrove is close to both the M5 and M42 motorways, and has its own train station with services to some of the biggest cities in the UK. The journey to Bromsgrove from Birmingham takes around 35 minutes by car via the M5, or 25 minutes by train, while Worcester is a 30-minute drive away via the M5, or 20 minutes by train. Kidderminster is close to Bromsgrove, around 20 minutes away by car, while Redditch is just 15 minutes away driving via the A448.

If you’re travelling to London, the journey to the capital takes two hours 20 minutes by car from Bromsgrove, or two hours 15 minutes by train with a change at Birmingham New Street. When it’s time to travel abroad for business or pleasure, Birmingham Airport is just 30 minutes away by car.
