Wigan is home to a number of parks including the beautiful Mesnes Park, while Haigh Country Park, Moss Bank Park and Worden Park are all just a short drive away. Getting to Wigan
Wigan is well-connected by both road and rail, ideal if you’re commuting for work or travelling to see friends and family nearby. The M6 is only a short drive away, while the local station has regular services to Manchester, London and more.
The town is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Warrington by train or 25 minutes by car. From Manchester, the journey to Wigan takes 30 minutes by train or 40 minutes by car. The drive or train ride from Liverpool takes 40 minutes. If you’re travelling from London, the train from Euston to Wigan North Western takes just two hours five minutes.
When you want to go on holiday, Manchester Airport is only a 35 minute drive away, so your adventure will get off to a quick and easy start.
