Event

We are proud to have been awarded Homebuilder of the Year at The Sunday Times Home Awards. This accolade is awarded to the homebuilder or developer with the most impressive portfolio that demonstrates:

  • Sustainable regeneration
  • The establishment of new communities
  • Strong architectural design and landscaping
  • Innovative construction methods
  • Environmental initiatives

This is an honour that recognises the thousands of high quality homes we build every year across the country. It is no wonder that over 90% of our customers recommend us.*

*The 90% percentage is based on the number of valid responses received. The HBF Star Rating Scheme is open to HBF members who typically build more than 300 homes per year. It is a voluntary scheme so only those builders who opt to participate will be star rated.

Evenings and weekends

Why not visit Wollaton Park for a great family day out. There are some great walks you can go on and there's plenty of areas for the kids to play. This is a great place to really unwind and spend some time with the family. Every July the Splendor festival is hosted in the park grounds and it is known to attract some of the biggest names in music.

If you fancy doing something a bit different, you could take the family to The National Ice Centre to show your support at a Nottingham Panthers game, or watch the latest production at the Theatre Royal.

Or why not spend a relaxing family afternoon out by going to see a film at Showcase Cinemas or go right next door to Tenpin Bowling, which is only a 15 minute drive away. You could also go for a quick bite to eat at either Nandos, Chiquito or Frankie & Benny's.

Live the life

If you’re looking for a night out, Nottingham city centre is the place to go. You can choose from a great variety of vibrant bars, pubs and clubs. Why not try the newly opened Hockley Arts Club or The Boiler Maker cocktail bar in the lively area of Hockley, or perhaps if you are looking for something a little more upmarket give Merchants a try in the Lace Market.

If you are a keen music fan, a night out to Rock City or Rough Trade could really appeal to you. These are two of the most popular music venues in Nottingham as they host some of the most current bands on the music scene.
