Tongham’s local primary school is St Paul’s CofE Infant School and is a well-regarded option. Meanwhile, Walsh Memorial CofE just north of the village in Ash is in the locals top bracket. The same goes for St Michael’s CofE and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary over in Aldershot, which both cater for children in Tongham. At secondary level, Ash Manor School is a good option not far from the centre of the village, while Farnham’s All Hallows Catholic School is also an excellent option.

Trains into London only take around 45 minutes to get from Aldershot to Waterloo station, making this a great place to live if you work in the capital. Tongham is also only a 10-minute drive along the A31 from Guildford, while it’s even less than that to get to junction 4 of the M3 motorway. You can use this to drive into London in around an hour, while it’s a similar journey time to reach Southampton on the south coast.
