Getting to Oakley

Oakley is close to the M3, so it’s easy to travel to towns and cities across the UK by road. Although there are no railway stations in Oakley itself, Basingstoke Railway Station is only a short drive away.

From Basingstoke, the journey to Oakley takes just 10 minutes, while the journey from London takes one hour 30 minutes depending on traffic. If you want to catch the train, the journey from London Waterloo to Basingstoke takes around one hour. The village is just 30 minutes from Winchester and 40 minutes by Southampton by car.

When it’s time for a well-earned holiday, the journey from Oakley to Southampton Airport takes just  35 minutes. The port at Portsmouth is under one hour away, with regular ferry services across the channel.
