The town is a 30-minute drive from York or 25 minutes by train, while Scarborough is a 40-minute drive away or just over 20 minutes by train. Leeds is just over an hour’s drive from the town.

Travelling further afield, the quickest way to get to London is by train, with a journey time of just two hours 25 minutes to reach King’s Cross, changing once in York. If you’re going on holiday, Leeds Bradford Airport and Durham Tees Valley Airport are both around one hour 15 minutes away from Malton by car.
