Evenings and weekends
Locally there are a diverse range of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafes to enjoy. Two local theatres – Grove and the Little Theatre – offer productions year-round or enjoy the latest films at the eleven screen Luton Cineworld.
Take a walk along Dunstable Downs, the highest point in Bedfordshire, and take in the breath-taking views. There is fun for all the family, with the perfect conditions for kite flying, plenty of cycle routes, a visitor centre and perfect spots to have a picnic watching the gliders soar overhead
The Grove Theatre
Just down the road from The Ridgeway is The Grove Theatre, which provides a range of productions, film screenings and live music with acts such as Al Murray, Omid Djalili and Nathan Carter & his Band.
A 25 metre swimming pool, squash courts, gym, multi-use outdoor pitches and children’s soft play area are all at the local leisure centre. In nearby Milton Keynes, Xscape offers indoor winter sports and skydiving.
One of Europe's largest wildlife conservation parks, it is home to 2,955 animals, many of which are endangered in the wild. The majority of the animals are kept within sizeable enclosures; others, such as peacocks, South American maras, and Australian wallabies, roam freely around the park.
